The Sonoran Desert

Pacific Biodiversity Institute has conducted extensive ecological research in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. This work is being used to help inform land management decisions on the Sonoran Desert National Monument and adjacent areas.

The Southwestern United States

We conducted a series of studies over a period of four years that shed significant light on the natural communities and ecological condition of the Sonoran Desert National Monument, established in 2000 in the heart of Arizona's Sonoran Desert.
